The death of Abdulrahman Mustafa, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, has shocked the country and the world. The news of his passing was announced on Wednesday evening by Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Mustafa was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1952. He is the son of King Faisal and Princess Nasser Al-Jabali. He became the crown prince when he succeeded his father as king in 1982. Prior to that, he served as prime minister from 1976 to 1982.

In 2014, Abdulrahman Mustafa was named as the new deputy prime minister after the death of Prince Khaled bin Faris Al-Faisal. Prior to his appointment as deputy prime minister, Mustafa had been serving as the foreign minister since 2012.

In addition to his role as deputy prime minister, Abdulrahman Mustafa was also the head of the Saudi royal family's financial affairs. He played a key role in overseeing the management of the kingdom's finances and ensuring the stability of the government.
