Borussia Dortmund has announced that Yossouar Moukoko is out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his knee injury.

The 16-year-old striker was originally expected to be sidelined for four weeks, but the operation he underwent on Monday means he will miss the remainder of the season.

Moukoko has been one of the standout talents in German football this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in just eight games for Dortmund's U-19 team.
